Benson's new wheels were delivered during the PA 4-H State Leadership Conference, held at the Penn Stater on February 1st.

The trailer was designed and built by PAE4-HA member, Phil Hoy. Phil also rigged up the Hummer to pull the trailer around!

Look for the new wheels at 4-H Day with the Lady Lions.

At the 2008 Penn State Cooperative Extension Annual Conference the 4-H Educators pooled their resources to take part in what has become an annual fundraising adventure for Cooperative Extension Associations scholarship funds.

Prior the conference dedicated PSU 4-H Educators pledged to donate funds to "win" the bull during the annual auction. Even though we ran ourselves up at times, it was all in good fun and for a great cause!

After a brainstorming session it was decided that Benson would become an honory Pennsylvania 4-H member and take part in as many county, regional, and state 4-H events as possible during 2009. This blog will be used during 2009 to follow the travels of Benson throughout his time with the 4-H educators.

4-H Educators have the opportunity to send electronic photos and notes showcasing the travels Benson takes part in during the year to Kathy Weller for posting on the blog.
